You can register to vote online through GOV.UK, and Gravesham says it only takes about five minutes. If you’d rather not do it online, you can also register by post.

To register, you’ll usually need your National Insurance number if you have one. Gravesham also says you can register if you’re 16 or 17, but you can’t vote until you’re 18, and you must live at your address for at least six months of the year.
