Food waste goes in the Food waste caddy, which Harrow says is the small black bin.
| Bin type | What Harrow uses it for |
|---|---|
| Food waste caddy | Leftover food, including raw and cooked food, fruit and vegetable peelings, dairy and eggshells, bread and pastries, meat, fish and bones, tea bags and coffee grounds, rice, pasta and beans |
Harrow says to line it with the provided liners or newspaper, and to use bio bags or newspaper rather than plastic bags. If you’re in a flat, the food waste caddy goes next to your rubbish bins and the contents can be tipped into the communal bin ready for collection.
