You can apply for housing benefit online through Hillingdon’s application form. If you’re vulnerable and can’t complete an online form without help, Hillingdon can send you a paper form instead.

Hillingdon says you can only claim housing benefit if you’re eligible, for example if you’re a pensioner, receive Pension Credit, live in council-arranged temporary accommodation, or live in certain supported housing. If none of those apply, they advise checking whether you’re eligible for Universal Credit instead.
