Hull says the Valuation Office decides which Council Tax band a property is in. You can check the band for an individual property online, and if you think the band is wrong, you can challenge it through the Valuation Office.
| What to do | How |
|---|---|
| Check a property’s Council Tax band | Access information about Council Tax bands for individual properties |
| If you think the band is wrong | Appeal your Council Tax band |
If your property has a temporary band, Hull will notify you by post and the account will be adjusted once the official band is set. If you’ve got a notification letter and want it looked at, the contact number is on the top right of that letter.
