Oxford says the fastest way to apply for Housing Benefit is through its online form for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction. The form is for new claims only, and you can use it to claim Housing Benefit on its own or alongside Council Tax Reduction.

If you’re already getting Housing Benefit, Oxford also has an online portal to view your benefit account, but the application link above is the one to use for a new claim.
