You can recycle a pretty broad mix in Perth and Kinross’s grey bin, as long as items are clean, rinsed, and loose. The main things are plastics, soft plastics, metals, cartons, and a few extras like all-metal coat hangers.

A couple of items are specifically excluded: toothpaste tubes should go in the green-lidded bin, and blister medicine packs are not accepted in the grey bin. If you’re recycling foil or soft plastics, Perth and Kinross asks that they’re clean and not heavily food-contaminated.
