Slough has a dedicated young carers service, plus an assessment route and a few ways to get help depending on your age and situation. If you’re a young person caring for someone, the main place to start is Slough Young Carers and Slough Children First.

Slough Young Carers runs weekly sessions too: ages 5–10 meet on Thursdays at 4:30pm–6:00pm, and ages 11–18 (up to 25 for those with SEND) meet on Wednesdays at 5:30pm–7:00pm. These sessions are about fun, connection and wellbeing, and some are online with some in-person support.
