You can apply for housing benefit by contacting Torridge’s Housing Options Team for help and advice, or by telling them about any change in circumstances that affects an existing claim. For new claims from prison or youth detention situations, Torridge also says the Housing Options Team can help you claim benefits and arrange a phone assessment if a referral is made.
