You can apply for a council house online through West Lothian Council’s housing application service. You can also use a paper application at your local CIS office, but the council’s main route is the online form.
| What you can do | How |
|---|---|
| Start a new housing application | Apply online |
| Update an existing application | Register online to review and maintain your application |
| Apply to more than one landlord at once | One application can cover West Lothian Council, Almond Housing Association and Link Housing Association |
A few basics: you must be 16 or over to be admitted to the housing list, and you’ll need to give accurate details and any relevant tenancy information. If you use the online service, you can also manage changes such as address, area selection, heating and floor level, and submit evidence when asked.
