Hull says you apply for Housing Benefit online, but only if you meet the eligibility rules. The quickest route is the Apply for Housing Benefit page, and if you already have an account you can use Register or access My Revenues and Benefits to view or manage your claim.

If you have non-dependants in your household, your award may be reduced. Hull also notes the service was unavailable during a system upgrade from 7pm Friday 22 May 2026 until Wednesday 27 May 2026, but that period has now passed.
