You can report fly-tipping using Hull’s online form: Report fly-tipping or dumped rubbish. If you have photos, dashcam video, mobile video, or CCTV footage, keep it safe because you’ll be asked to provide it after you submit the report.
| What Hull says | Details |
|---|---|
| How to report | Use the online fly-tipping form |
| What to do first | Do not touch the waste |
| Why not to touch it | It may contain syringes, chemicals, other hazardous substances, or evidence |
| What Hull will remove | Fly-tipped waste from adopted alleyways, public roads, pavements, grass verges, public open spaces such as parks and cemeteries, and other council land |
| Response time | Crews work Monday to Friday and clear it within 5 working days |
| If reported outside working times | It will be processed the next working day |
Hull also says not to report green or black #lovehullhatelitter bags as fly-tipping — those should go through the Love Your Street form instead. If the fly-tipping is on private property, Hull says it’s the owner or occupier’s responsibility to remove it.
