You can report fly-tipping online using Mansfield District Council’s fly-tipping form. Mansfield only wants this form used for waste on council-owned land or the roadside; if it’s on private land, you should use the environmental health reporting route instead.
| Where the waste is | What to do | Link / contact |
|---|---|---|
| District council owned land or roadside/adopted highways | Report it using the fly-tipping form | report fly-tipping |
| Private land, untidy land, or untidy gardens | Report it as an environmental health issue | report an environmental health issue |
| Railways | Report it to Network Rail | 0345 711 4141 |
| Private housing estate green spaces | Report it to the property developer | No council link given |
Mansfield asks you not to touch or approach anyone fly-tipping, and to note the exact location, a description of the items, and the approximate amount of waste before reporting. The council says it normally removes eligible fly-tipped rubbish within 24 hours, although larger or contaminated loads can take longer.
