Mansfield says the app is used for persistent noise such as loud music, barking dogs, DIY, burglar alarms, and noise from pubs, clubs, and commercial premises. If the noise is from a neighbour, the council suggests approaching them first if that feels appropriate, or using the app to keep a record for investigation.
