If you’re a member of the Armed Forces, or the husband, wife or registered civil partner of someone who is, Oldham says you should register as a Service Voter so you can stay registered at a fixed UK address even if you move around.
| What to do | Where |
|---|---|
| Register as a Service Voter | Register to vote as a member of the armed services |
| General voter registration | Register to vote |
The general registration page says you’ll need your National Insurance number and date of birth to register. If you’re overseas now, or think you may be posted overseas in the next year, this is the route Oldham points you to.
