You can register to vote online through Oldham’s link to the GOV.UK registration service. To do it, you’ll need your National Insurance number and date of birth.

If you’re a member of the Armed Forces, or the husband, wife or registered civil partner of someone who is, Oldham says you should make sure you’re registered to vote.
