If it’s a neighbour or other domestic noise issue, Sandwell asks you to try resolving it informally first, then report it through the My Sandwell Portal. If it’s noise from a business, pub, club or factory, there’s a separate online reporting route.
| Noise type | How to report | Notes | Link |
|---|---|---|---|
| Domestic / noisy neighbour | Log on to My Sandwell and complete the Anti-Social Behaviour form | You’ll need to keep a record of the noise, including what it is, when it happens, how long it lasts, and how it affects you. You may also be asked to provide diary sheets or noise recordings. | Report noise nuisance online |
| Noise from a council property | Contact your local housing team | They will take the details and investigate further. | Contact your local housing team |
| Noise from a business, pub, club or factory | Use the My Sandwell Portal / business noise reporting route | Sandwell can investigate commercial and industrial noise, and may ask you to complete diary or monitoring forms. | Report noise from a business online |
For domestic complaints, Sandwell says you should first speak to your neighbour and only move on once informal steps haven’t worked. For domestic noise complaints, diary sheets must be returned within six weeks of your initial complaint or the case can be closed.
