In Scottish Borders, blue bags are provided for residents who cannot use traditional bins to present their general waste. These bags can be used for everyday waste and recycling, but not for larger clear outs or garden waste.
If you need a supply of blue bags, you can request this service and receive an annual supply equivalent to the capacity of a standard bin. Here's a quick overview of the guidelines related to blue bags:
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Usage | Everyday general waste and recycling |
| Not for | Clear outs, garden waste |
| Annual Supply | Equivalent to a standard bin capacity |
