To qualify for blue bags in the Scottish Borders, you need to meet specific criteria regarding your ability to use standard waste bins. This service is typically aimed at individuals who can't use a regular bin due to mobility issues or limited space.
Here’s a summary of the eligibility criteria:
| Criteria | Details |
|---|---|
| Mobility Issues | You must be unable to use a standard bin due to mobility challenges. |
| Space Restrictions | You must have limited space that prevents the use of standard bins. |
If you think you qualify, you may want to consider requesting an assessment or further guidance from the council. It's worth checking the council's website for more information on how to apply for the service.
