You can apply for a concessionary bus pass online, or you can print and complete a form and send it to St Helens Council’s School Transport Team. If your child qualifies, the council will ask for a passport-sized photo and then issue the pass.

St Helens says the pass is normally valid until the end of the school year. If you’re applying because of low income, faith school travel, or statutory criteria, the eligibility rules differ a bit, but the application routes are the same.
