West Lothian Council does not operate general permit parking schemes, so it does not issue a standard parking permit. If you mean a disabled persons’ residential parking place, you can apply online or by form, and the council will consider it if you’re a Blue Badge holder with a suitable vehicle registered at your address.

If the council can provide a bay, you should get an acknowledgement within a week, and if approved the bay should be marked within six weeks of confirmation. The legal process to make it enforceable can take between nine and twelve months after your application is successful.
