Yes, you can report a missed recycling or garden waste collection in Birmingham. However, the process is slightly different for each.
| Type of Waste | Reporting Timeframe | Additional Notes |
|---|---|---|
| General Waste | After 1:30pm on the day of collection | You can't report if the bin was not out, contaminated, or if we already know about the missed collection. |
| Recycling Waste | Currently, recycling collections are suspended during industrial action, so bins should not be put out. | |
| Garden Waste | Issues with garden waste collection must be reported using a specific form, but this form is not for missed collections. |
For general waste collections, if you missed a collection, you can report it here. If you have issues specific to garden waste and need the right form, please use one from the garden waste subscription inquiry options. Remember to check the guidelines on contamination and ensuring your bin was out on time to avoid reporting issues.
