Cherwell’s council tax bands run from A to H, based on the property’s open market value as at 1 April 1991. The current band ranges are below.

| D | £68,001 - £88,000 |
| E | £88,001 - £120,000 |
| F | £120,001 - £160,000 |

| H | More than £320,000 |
Your council tax bill or demand notice will confirm your property’s band. If you think the band is wrong, Cherwell says you can contact the Valuation Office Agency to ask for a review, but you still need to keep paying your council tax while that’s being looked at.
