You can register to vote online through the UK government’s registration service, or you can register by post using a voter registration form. Perth & Kinross also says you’ll need your date of birth and National Insurance number to complete the process.

Everyone has to register themselves. Once you’ve submitted your details, look out for confirmation that you’re registered.
