You can report a noise complaint to Slough Borough Council online as a statutory nuisance, and the council will investigate it. If the noise is serious and you want to take your own formal action, Slough also explains the Magistrates’ Court route.

If the council investigates, an officer may contact your neighbour and may ask you to complete noise diary sheets. Slough also says that if you decide to take private legal action, you should first write to the person responsible giving 3 days’ notice before going to Magistrates’ Court.
