West Lothian’s main way to apply is through the School Clothing Grants, Free School Meals & Milk application, which is open online for eligible families. For the P6/P7 Scottish Child Payment scheme, there’s also a specific free school meals application and you need to upload evidence with it.

If you’re applying for the P6/P7 Scottish Child Payment scheme, West Lothian says not to upload Child Benefit evidence because it doesn’t qualify. A new application is needed each academic year.
