To apply for a council house in Edinburgh, you need to register with EdIndex and Housing Online, then bid for homes through Key to Choice. You can do that online, or use a paper application form if you can’t apply online.

Edinburgh’s council home adverts are currently paused until March 2027, but you can still register and bid for housing association homes through Key to Choice.
